Thanks to all that shared their recipes on Delicious Dishes last week, with over 50 scrumptious delights, choosing only three to highlight was a daunting task to say the least.

So I decided that I would share one for Liz, she loves sweet potatoes and along with Nick continue to try to convert me to the dark side. This Sweet Potato Soup Recipe from Under The Big Oak Tree will be added to there arsenal…

Are you getting prepared for Valentine’s Day? Here are some ideas from last week.

h a wish for winter. I’ve not see such a crazy spectacle as this winter’s weather in quite some time. Over the course of 5 days we have seen temperatures from 45 to 9 degrees and return to 45. And just last night the skies opened up and gave us a downpour of rain that brings to mind a spring shower not the gentle falling of winter snow.

Alas, we must be happy with what we have and look forward to other endeavors that are on the horizon.
