Nobody in my family would ever call me a fashion conscious person, see I’m the guy you are bound to see walking down the street with mis-
matching plaids on or wearing styles from 20 years ago when we first got married. I’ve never been one who can put clothes together and make them look good so it’s a good thing I’ve got a wife and son that have good taste and aren’t afraid to give me their opinions. Even though I still go against their advice sometimes just to to prove Fashionista I’m not.
I’ve gotten away with many fashion mistakes in the past, but in a few weeks I’ll be jetting to Portland and meeting some fellow bloggers so I thought I should take the opportunity to update my wardrobe.
Now we’ve already established I have no fashion sense, so it stands to reason when left to my own decision things don’t turn out well. So I decided instead of trying to figure it out on my own I’d go to a store that can provide someone like me with advice. That’s when I turned to Brooks Brothers, they are well know for there classic styles and quality materials and I was counting on their customer service.
I’ve always wanted to venture into the world of a well dress man but with circumstances and raising three boys the means to do so have eluded me till recently. I’ve always thought of Brooks Brothers as a store that I would never be able to afford yet I was surprised with the pricing on some of the items, I was able to get two shirts at 25% off and while I won’t be shopping here everyday I felt like I got a good deal and the quality of the shirts will make them last long enough to make up for what I’ve paid for lesser costing shirts in the past.
