If you follow our blogs then the theme of this party shouldn’t be a surprise. Celebrating the holidays is all about the trees, we typically have 12 trees in our house ranging frm our 7 1/2 foot family tree to a 1 1/2 foot table topper. Every room has a tree, sometimes more.

So now is your chance to maybe add another tree to the collection, thanks for sharing.

Now head off to the kitchen and start baking those treats for next weeks cookie swap!

Home for the Holidays – Mantles

Friday, December 2nd, 2011

Deck the halls with boughs of holly…fahlalalala…la.la.la

Yes it’s that time of year when we go all out, pull out all the stops and go overboard on decorating for the holidays. But where oh where to start? There is so much to do, with the trees and garland, lights and ornaments. But let’s start with strong focal point, the mantle, a place where you can get creative ad brig all the elements of the holidays together.

It doesn’t need to be huge, it can even be only big enough for your stockings to hang. Oh and you need a place for Santa to come in so go ahead show us what you’ve got.

Be sure to stop back next Friday and share your Christmas Trees and get baking for the Cookie Swap… and above all else have a great time getting ready for the holidays!
