Too much, Too much, Too much!

I have got to hand it to all the great contributors to It’s a Blog Party. Over the last few months you have impressed with your diversity and creativity. And it is always great when the things we do can influence the people around use. There are many examples of this but I’d like to share this one from Merry Makes.

How have you influenced people around you?

Another week has come and gone as we recover from the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations with family and friends. As we go into the weekend take some time to reflect on the past and look to the coming months and enjoy what you have. Spring will be coming in a flourish of color as the daffodils are breaking through the remnants of winter and soon their bright yellow heads will be nodding in the breeze.

Of all the seasons this is my favorite as it reminds me that all things in life change and their is always an opportunity for regrowth and a fresh start. I hope all is well in your life and like me you are looking forward to the coming months and all the changes they bring.

Well I guess I just have the fashion bug this week ’cause I decided we might as well end the week the way we started. This Denim Dress from DAME Design Studio looks like an easy weekend project even for a novice seamstress. Give her a visit and check out some of her other creations.

Now what is your favorite from this week?

Ahhh. To me there is no better time of year that now. The weather has gotten better here and I have been able to get outside and work in the flowers. Being able to clear the remnants of winter from the ground is almost like pulling the sheets back on a freshly made bed. You may not like to make that bed but when you pull back the sheets the anticipation of a comfortable bed is the payoff.

Also it is great to see and smell the first new growth of spring bursting through the ground knowing that your efforts will be rewarded shortly in beautiful bursts of color.
