Host a March Madness Get-together with #Orville and #Partybluprints.

Have you checked out all the great party ideas over at the Party BluPrints blog? They have wonderful ideas for party themes like the Oscar Party Liz at Hoosier Homemade hosted last month.

With March Madness happening I thought it would be a great opportunity to try my hand at hosting a party for some of my sons’ friends, with help from Liz of course.

Now you can ask Liz, I’m not known for my ability to plan any kind of party but with the party bluprint in hand this was a snap. All the information and advise you need is right there. Using the bluprint your party is sure to be a hit.

Ours was, from the food…

We had my Sweet & Tangy Wings, Ranch Burger Sliders, Buffalo Chicken Dip and my son wanted some Gator meat ’cause you know we are from Indiana and we just eat up the Gators. Liz made some cool March Madness Cupcakes {hint, she has a video showing you how to make them} and we switched up the Basketball Whoopie Pies that Party BluPrints created, and made them blue for Butler!!

And a party isn’t complete with out plenty of #orville redenbacher PopUp Bowls.

My boys and I even decorated our Living Room wall with the Sweet 16 Bracket…

Everyone had fun rooting for their favorite team. It turned out even better than I hoped and we (that is myself and my sons) already are figuring out how we are going to do the entire field of 64 teams next year. (I still have some negotiating to do with my wife on this idea, it will probably end with me redecorating the room in the end.) But with the help of The UPS Store this is a very frugal way to share the excitement of March Madness with your guest. I was able to do the Sweet 16 bracket for right around $5.00 by taking advantage of their #printmadness 4 for a $1 printing special going on until April 15th.

My oldest son and his friend, definitely enjoyed the food.

We all enjoyed the games and shooting some hoops of our own.

Well my first solo attempt at hosting a party was a big hit! The guys enjoyed the food and and madness atmosphere and we are looking forward to Butler winning the whole enchilada this year. So it’s not too late to grab some #Orville PopUp Bowls, your Party Bluprints, a few friends and enjoy the madness.

Who are you cheering on?
